Many of you have guessed a rope as the weapon of the "very bad man" (http://www.michelledresbold.com/contest.html). And the truth is, you're right. But only partially right. Because this man's main weapon is much more sinister.

hmmm, those dots must mean something....I'm almost tempted to see yarn or something to do with sewing....
Do the dots look like holes? Are they holes in which someone is imprisoned--or maybe they are heads, or even eyes. I first thought that the loops were imprisoning the dots, each one in a separate "cell," but I'm not sure that's the way to read this.

If I get this right does it mean I'm demented?
Could it be a rope with chains links attached? I'm thinking chain links because of the dots around his signature.

I saw the rope, but I also think a knife is in there too.The holes could signify a gun, I how-ever think it could be something from the knife,like stabbings.
I am going to say that the main part of the signature looks like a cork screw and the dots would represent the holes that it would pierce.
My first thought when I saw the dots was 'marbles'. Which lead me to think of poison globes... perhaps I'm reading too many fantasy murder novels.
My second thought was that they were nails, or nail holes, so maybe he used a nail gun. Which seems silly.
Gun. Knife. Rope or cord. Garrote. Bayonette or dagger.
You've guessed all of these weapons...and the truth is, you're not wrong. All of the above weapons were used in the crime this writer was convicted of.
However, there's more. Take your time. Look very closely. Now, can you see his main weapon, his weapon of choice?

rope surrounds the body. four eyes or faces watching (the four dots) top loop holds a dagger above all the others. The signature starts large and alone, and gets smaller like a funnel from left to right. the middle of the signature is joined by the chaotic "rope, knife and faces." the end of the signature is alone again, like the feet of a body laying alone on the ground. The end of this signature with the loops looks like the word "see" as in see what i can do. Power.

I had a closer look and read the blog. send you an email with some comments to your email address.
it seems this subject portrays himself as a mover (fast signature) yet, writes slower and deliberate.
There are a multitude of lettering or words that are multi interpretable, and it is not clear what was "said". The signature also suggest subject does not want to be recognized.
Assuming that a multitude of weapons are used (blog), this suggest a multitude of individuals (or multiple personalities?).
With subject being more on the deceiving side, this could suggest that others were involved.
Subject might have acted by staying on the background and blame others or has been part of crimes that subject managed others to get involved in. Somebody that can move others even into suicide (like in religious sects e.g.)

this murderer's weapon of choice is a knife or scalpel. Something sharp that would cut clean and deep.

This bad man seems like a "rope tieing" person and some sort of an out door person who might have access to tree equipment and disposal?

Its all in the book. If you haven't read it, you need to!
I immediately saw the knife handle---a kitchen knife or hunting knife. The rope loops--- So I think he tied his vixctimns and tortured them---not a clean kill. One of the samples he started a "Hail Mary"---I think the torture in his mind was purifying. The 4 holes he may have even tied his victimns or left them in a "crucifiction" like pose---or cut them into pieces.
The main weapon has a large handle and jagged edge that is protected on the top--open on the bottom---Chain Saw?
the dots can be bullet holes or angry and sinister yet the same eyes who lured all these people to commit these crimes for him... all these acts with the hypnotism of manson's eyes.
